Cannon Fort

  The majestic - that is all that people can say when coming to the Cannon Fort (High Point 177) in Cat Ba, where nature- heaven- earth- sea are in harmony with the heroic history. 

  The historical records also recorded on this land, not only having two symbol cannons, it is a very complex system of observatories . Built right on top of the mountain, the buildings are still nearly intact despite the war and time.

  

  In addition to the trenches covered with thick and rough blocks of rock, the massive tunnel sections with the dome going deep into the mountain center have large space, enough for the whole group to pass through. The tunnel leading straight to the management area and bunkers were built of solid concrete blocks. All of those wild and rough features leave visitors to enjoy a special impression of an intact historical remains.

  

 

  Stop at Cannon Fort Cafe  with opposite emotions rise in every person. The location of the cafe shows the contrast here. One side is a rough look of military historical trophy with trenches, ammunition, guns and one side is the romantic beauty that nature brings to this place, the beauty of the sea, mountains and forests. There are few places where people are so close to nature as well as giving us a sense of pride when standing here.

 

  From the observation deck of the Cannon Fort Tourism , we can see the wide open space ahead, feel overwhelmed, adventure with space and scenery. Located at the foot of the mountain are the two most beautiful beaches of Cat Ba - Cat Co 1 and Cat Co 2.

  According to legend, when heaven and earth were close together, heavenly fairies often turned into stork wings to enjoy the earthly scenery. With  white sandy beaches, clear blue sea and waves rippling to the mountainside, this is really a place for sight. The islands are far away, hidden, floating on the waves like Long Chau dragon eye island. Nature and nature have drawn beautiful lines on the blue sea to create a picture that is hard to match.

 

  Looking to the other side is Cat Ba Bay, showing with hundreds of fishing boats anchored with floating houses, creating a bustling scenery at sea. Looking down from above, both Cat Ba Bay is encapsulated in sight with dotted ships. When the sunset falls, the bright red sun shines behind the mountains of the sea, a beautiful natural painting with the sunset and the shadow spreading over the water.

 

  Miraculous beauty of nature is also revealed when standing watching Lan Ha Bay from above, one of the most beautiful bays of the world natural wonder of Ha Long. The color of the sea water is as blue as the pearl and the color of the vegetation covering the limestone mountains makes the color palette of the foreground more green.

  

  Coming to Cannon Fort is coming to the harmony of heaven and earth, mountains and sea. The majestic poetic scenery and heroic history of the nation of Vietnam all make moving tourists thrilling.
